Physical Characteristicsof the Athlete large and massive, the girth of head in one case being above the ninety-five, and in another at the eighty-five per cent class, while the girth of the bones of the legs and arms are nearly in the same class as the muscles that act upon them. In each c a s e t h e girth o f t h e c h e s t reaches the nine­ ty-seven and one- h a l f p e r c e n t class, and in two cases the depth of the chestcor­ responds. In all there is a slight tailing off in the g i r t h o f t h e waist.
