David Bedford After losing his position as Honorary Secretary of the BAF in 1994, David Bedford has gone on to make a successful career as Race Director of the London Marathon. John Bromley After resigning as head of sport at ITV in 1993, John Bromley became a television consultant and chairman of the independent Television Sport and Leisure (TSL). Bromley died in 2002. Frank Dick After resigning from the BAF, Frank Dick established a career as a consultant and motivational speaker. He is currently President of the European Coaches Association and Chairman of Scottish Athletics. Bill Evans After retiring as chairman of the BAF in 1993, Bill Evans substantially withdrew from athletics and died two years later, in 1995 Mike Farrell Mike Farrell retired as General Secretary of the BAF following the appointment of Malcolm Jones as Chief Executive and became a sales consultant for a leading sports equipment manufacturer. Now retired, he has moved to the West Country.
