Athletics of To-Day 1929

The Sprints-100 to 300 Yards 55 Thursday.-Limber up, four starts with pistol, one so yards and one 75 yards sprint, five minutes body-building exercises, jog quarter mile. Friday.-Rest. Saturday.-Time trial or competition. Beforehand, limber up with jog, follow d by two 25 yard dashes, two or three ea y starts. If no race, go on after trial to start of 220 yards and run 120 yards round curve. Run 220 yards at nearly top speed. Do body-building exercises either in morning or evening this day. NOTE.-There must be at least a five minutes rest period between the practice of each it m in the daily schedule.
