H OWSON at Halifax, 28 Sept. 1872. The longest knock with a pot knur appears to be 14 score and 5 yards made by A RTHUR T ODD at Cardigan, 19 June 1886. The largest total made in a single five rises is 68 score made by S. Moss in a match with T. C OCKCROFT at Halifax, 3 April 1869. The best score made in a contest of 30 rises with pot knurs appears to be 290 score made by M. C OOKE at Barnsley, 5 July 1879. Lacrosse England v. Ireland 188 1 —1896.
