WALKER (the famous Middlesex Amateur) is the only man who has performed this feat more than once, and he did it no less than 3 times, namely, for England v. Surrey, in July 1859; for Gentlemen of Middlesex v. Gentlemen of Kent in June 1864; for Middlesex 7'. Lancashire in July 1865. J. WISDEN, the famous professional, took all ten wickets {all bowled} for North v. Southat Lord's, 15 July 1850. Since 1872 ten wickets in an innings have been taken by the following players;— Bowler J.
