7° CRICKET A Big Record One of the most remarkable cricketers that has ever lived and played small cricket is Mr. C. A, ABSOLON of the Tuffnell Park, Holloway, United C. C. Born in 1817 he began playing in 1831 and has been playing ever since (66 years). From 1868—1893 {i.e. from his 51st to his 76th year) he made 24,189 runs and took 7,339 wickets. In 1877 at the age of 60 he made 1179 runs and took 362 wickets; and in 1889 at the age of 72 he made over 1000 runs.
