The Hungarian and Finnish method of javelin– throwing, as demonstrated by Koczan and Halme, is particularly to be recommended, as it does not necessitate the secondary break in the rhythm of movement which is bound to take place in the English_method already described. In this method the run is quite a short one; 20 yards amply sufficies.
