Morgan 1 Fell 2 Vidal 8 The final heat was won after a very good and quick race, by Morgan, who had the inside place. Fell and Vidal running a close race home for second honours, which were gained by Fell, Vidal third; time 28 seconds Unfortunately a course could not be obtained without a bend in it; conse quently the men who had the inside places had a considerable advantage. Flat Race, Two Miles— Nicholson 1 Good 2 Tayler 3 The pace, owing to the heavy state of the ground, was very slow. Nichol son took the lead, whichwas alternately carried on by Good, Scott, Kell, and Tayler. Nicholson finally secured a good leadand won easily. A goodrace for second place. Time 12 min. 53se conds.
