breeze, and reached the twelve-mile point seven minutes inside the hour - twelve miles run in 53 minutes, and so overjoyed was Sian of the Shop that she ran to him and clapped him on the back, shouting, "Guto Nythbran for ever, We// done!" The remains of this remarkable man were placed under the south wall of Wyno's Church [St Gwynno's Church],15 and a stone was placed over his grave to commemorate him, engraved with a heart to show how this great runner died.
